When viewing a work order, you may have a need to save a note and send it to someone via email. Notes are a great way to bring attention to an issue or communicate with an assigned service provider!
Steps for Adding a Note
When viewing an existing work order, click on the "Notes" button to navigate to the notes section.
Type a note in the box containing the "Enter your note here..." label
Choose who the note should be visible to. Most often you will want to select "All".
Note Without Email
If you DO NOT wish to email the note to anyone click "Add Note" and the note will be saved to the work order.
Note With Email
If you DO wish to email this note/message to someone, click the "Send Email" toggle.
If this note is important and needs action right away click the "Action Required" toggle to mark the email with "Action Required".
Choose the recipient of the email, you can either begin typing or click on the caret to choose from the available list.
If the person you are attempting to send the note to is not on the list you can manually add their email address to the "Add Email" field.
Once the email addresses have been added, click the "Add Note" button to save the note to the work order and send via email.
